African Christian Cartoonists

COMIX35 has proposed a gathering of African Christian cartoonists and comic book producers at the LittWorld2009 World Conference of Christian Publishing in Nairobi, Kenya, November 1-6, 2009.
In addition to enjoying fellowship and discussion with other Christian comics producers, and hearing practical and inspirational talks by the LittWorld2009 speakers, attending artists will also have the opportunity to meet many Christian writers, editors, and publishers from all over the world.
Didier Millotte, a professional comics artist from France, will be attending LittWorld2009 and will lead a comics and graphic novel workshop on "Principles for scenario writing and drawing."
UPDATES:
Nate Butler, President of COMIX35 in the USA, was planning to attend, but he will be unable to do so because of health problems.
